introducing the iDon'tCare
I'm starting to agree with the idea that iPhones are expensive and limited--that is Apple's thing...and now this tablet is coming out and will likely cost $1500 or so...will it change things? I hope not..tired of having to buy so much stuff to keep up...[shaking fist] Damn you Joneses!

- I once cooked a hamburger for Joan Rivers. Actually, I thought it was for her, but she ended up feeding it to this little toy dog she carried around with her. I suppose I have to leave it up to you to decide whether that is noteworthy. I also almost drowned as a kid--for some reason I remember less about that story.

What? Where did you get this? It will certainly be less than the cost of a Macbook so < $1,000. But probably more than the cost of an unlocked iPhone so >$500...
ReplyDeleteI'm actually thinking that we'll see more than one version. Maybe a $899.99 and another $599 or $699 model with less memory, options , etc. Like they do with the iPods and iPhones.
ReplyDeleteI got this article from the Hindu. The title of the blog is a link to the article. The author expects it will be around $1,500..he seems to be pretty into Apple--we'll see if they all of a sudden start going cheap with the new thing.
ReplyDeleteIphones are cheaper now but remember how much the first 100,000 or so were? People will pay..I guess we are not looking at the settled price after a couple of Xmases, but the 'Initial Public Offering' price, if you will
Good call--I took the number from thehindu.com but the article I read was way higher than your estimate. Guess you are all over this apple-mania. You would make a good contestant on 'The I-Price is Right'.
